Paramount Vantage has officially scheduled a release date for Sundance winner Like Crazy.
The well-received Like Crazy, which stars Anton Yelchin, Felicity Jones and Jennifer Lawrence, will be in limited release Friday, Oct. 28.
Jones was awarded a special jury award for acting at Sundance for her performance. The 21-year-old Yelchin said in an interview with THR at Sundance that the improvisation done in the film was “magical.”
The romantic drama, which won the grand jury prize for U.S. dramatic film at this year’s festival, revolves around two college students — one American (Yelchin) and the other British (Jones) — who meet in Los Angeles and fall in love. It was the first film to be bought during the Park City-set fest, with Paramount and Indian Paintbrush paying $4 million to release the Drake Doremus-directed film worldwide.
Relativity is picking up the distribution rights to House at the End of the Street, a thriller starring Jennifer Lawrence and Max Theriot.
FilmNation and A Bigger Boat are behind the movie, which shot in Ottawa, Canada, last summer under the direction of Mark Tonderai.
House centers on a teen girl (Lawrence) who moves with her mom to a new town and learns that their home is across the street from a house where a double murder took place. Complications ensue when the teen befriends the massacre’s sole surviving son (Thieriot). Elisabeth Shue costars as Lawrence’s mom.

June 17th is the day the UK wants to mark on their calenders for the premiere release of The Beaver starring Jennifer Lawrence.

Jennifer has been cast as the lead role (Katniss Everdeen) in Lionsgate’s film The Hunger Games. The first installment of the novel trilogy by Suzanne Collins. I can’t wait until this series comes out.
Ms. Lawrence will play the 16-year old Katniss, whose hunting skills with the bow and arrow give her a fighting chance when she volunteers to take the place of her younger sister in The Hunger Games, a deadly televised competition that takes place in the futuristic ruins of North America. Two teens are plucked by lottery from each of 12 districts that replaced the United States, and the competition is a fight to the death. Her teammate is a baker’s son who has also been chosen from her dirt-poor home district. The book has been a bestselling phenomenon that gives Lionsgate hopes for a Twilight Saga-like hit.
Check out Jennifer Lawrence as an award presenter at the 26th Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, Feb. 26, in Santa Monica. Jennifer is also one of the nominee’s for best actress!
Congrats to Jennifer Lawrences newest Film Like Crazy for winning the Grand Jury Prize at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival.
