jennifer-lawrence-nicholas-hoult-1024x867Nicholas Hoult is smoldering sexy on the cover of V Man magazine’s Spring issue, on newsstands March 13. Here’s what the 24-year-old actor, who was interviewed by his X-Men director Bryan Singer, had to share with the magazine about Jennifer Lawrence:

On what makes Jennifer Lawrence special: “It’s like that thing whereby you don’t believe your own hype. Enjoy the good times, but don’t get swept away with it. And I think that’s something she’s capable of doing, and that’s what makes her special, but yeah, it is very odd, and I am just kind of a bystander in many ways. It is well-deserved for her. I haven’t really seen any change in her.”

On working with Jennifer: “It’s fun because in this business you are away from one another for long periods of time, so when you’re on set together it’s a brilliant thing, because you actually get to spend time together. Especially with this film, I got to spend time with her, but also the rest of the cast who I’ve worked with on the previous film, so it was kind of like going back to school after the break and seeing all your old mates again. Which is a great thing. It doesn’t really affect the acting though.”

Jennifer Lawrence brings her captivating gaze to her third Dior campaign. Short hair tousled and wind-swept, the actress was photographed by Patrick Demarchelier as she cradles the chain-handled Miss Dior bag. The print campaign is slated to break in Marie Claire in the U.K. on Thursday, followed by the April issue of Vanity Fair in the U.S.

Dior is to feature the images on its Web site at dior.com from Wednesday, including a video in which Lawrence talks about visiting the house’s ateliers to select her couture dress for Oscar night on March 2. “Now I get the haute couture thing,” she tells the camera, concluding: “It’s a big deal.”

Lawrence was unable to attend the ceremony due to filming commitments, but the prize was received on her behalf by the film’s director, David O Russell. He read acceptance speech in which Lawrence thanked her fellow actors, writers and the director himself and celebrated the opportunity to enact “heartbreak, romance, rebirth, music and life”.

She beat the much-fancied Lupita Nyong’o, who was nominated for her role in 12 Years a Slave. The award was presented by Leonardo DiCaprio who said he “was completely blown away” by the talent in the category.

This week AskMen.com unveiled its list of the Top 99 Most Desirable Women of the Year, and Jennifer, formerly ranked number one last year, took the No. 4 spot this year.

#4 Jennifer Lawrence

Why is Jennifer Lawrence desirable?

There’s no one more likable in Hollywood than Jennifer Lawrence. She’s got it all: beauty, talent and the inimitable goofiness that sets her apart from other A-listers. She was utterly astounding in American Hustle, and we’ll be watching when X-Men: Days of Future Past and the next installment of Hunger Games hit cinemas this year.

This year’s Most Desirable Woman was actress Emilia Clarke, who stars as Daenerys Targaryen on the television program Game of Thrones.

Jennifer Lawrence admits she is still ‘intimidated’ by famous faces despite her starring roles alongside A-List hotshots Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro and Amy Adams. The 23-year-old confessed she is terrified to make the first move when it comes to socialising with the who’s who of Hollywood.

‘It’s very easy to intimidate me,’ the American Hustle star revealed. ‘I’m never brave enough to approach people.’

Despite winning an Oscar for her role in Silver Linings Playbook and being nominated for another Academy Award next month, the actress admits she lives in fear that she will mess up.

‘I always worry about the consequences,’ she told German magazine TV Movie. ‘I’m scared of making mistakes.’

And despite her worldwide fame and recognition she admits she still finds it ‘awkward’ being approached by her fans.

‘It’s awkward when I go to the bathroom in a restaurant and two or three girls follow me, wanting a picture,’ she confessed.

Jennifer Lawrence’s post-Hunger Games plan includes some voiceover work. Discussing what her career might look like after Katniss, Lawrence said:

“I don’t know … Go into television? Or do something totally unexpected. I’ll start doing voiceovers for Animal Planet. No, but seriously now, that’s something I really want to do.”

'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Premiere - The 8th Rome Film Festival

“American Hustle” star Jennifer Lawrence is set to sign a multimillion dollar deal with Dior for a three-year partnership, Page Six can exclusively reveal.

The deal between the Hollywood star and the Paris fashion house is worth between $15 and $20 million, and the talks are being brokered through her agents at CAA, we’re told.

Lawrence became a spokeswoman for Dior in 2012, after starring in the first “Hunger Games” film, and Dior creative director Raf Simons said of Lawrence at the time: “I was . . . struck by her incredible on-screen presence in these blockbuster films, but also . . . by her powerful interpretations of subtler, more rounded characters.”

Soon after, the actress was appearing in a campaign for Miss Dior, and creating memorable awards-show moments in Dior designs. At last year’s SAG Awards, the “Silver Linings Playbook” star wore a tiered blue gown, and when she rose to pick up her best actress honor, a panel of fabric was accidentally exposed. Many viewers believed the dress “fell apart,” but its designer explained it was the gown’s “tulle and satin” layers that were revealed, and, “It was not ripped and there was no malfunction.”

The actress got even more attention in Dior when she later fell up the stairs at the Oscars in a gorgeous fit-for-Hollywood white Dior frock.

On the awards circuit this season, a full-length white gown with black bands worn to the Golden Globes for “American Hustle” sparked endless online memes.

Reps for Dior, CAA and Lawrence had no comment. But a Hollywood source said, “There’s no signed deal, but Jennifer’s had a great relationship with Dior to date, and is open to the idea of continuing a partnership. But there’s no deal in place.” Another source tells us that Dior wants to dress Lawrence exclusively for the red carpet and shut out other design houses that are vying to work with the Best Supporting Actress Oscar nominee.

Previous spokeswomen for the brand have included Marion Cotillard, Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron and Mila Kunis.
