Jennifer Lawrence has just splashed out on a shiny new LA pad and it’s basically the house we’ve always dreamt of owning.

After a few, pretty tough months for the 24-year-old actress, it looks like her fresh-start is almost complete after signing the deeds on this not-so-humble abode.

According to E! News (practically the FBI of celebsville), the Hunger Games starlet has reportedly dropped a very cool $7 million on the house situated in the Hidden Hills of Los Angeles. With 5 sprawling bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, a stunning pool, a state-of-the-art marble clad kitchen and a host of living rooms, all set over 5,550-square-feet, we reckon this house will give Jen the tranquillity and peace she craves in bucket loads.

Tipped as the ultimate ‘Bachlorette pad’, Jen is actually buying the place from none-other than Jessica Simpson, who has lived in the mansion since 2005 after splitting from her then-husband, Nick Lachey. Talk about ‘three degrees of separation’, huh?

Decorated with shabby-chic furniture from floor-to-ceiling, we’d happily waste away our time gazing up at the ornate chandeliers or strolling around the rose-filled courtyard. Yep; that’ll do just nicely.
